With nearly 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Chris has become a force within the beverage community having spent the better part of 10 years cultivating a following at legendary institution Banc Café.
During his tenure, Chris perfected his speed, volume and artistry while becoming a favorite with both regular guests and industry insiders. Chris was an instrumental part of the team that set a new Guinness world record for most drinks made in an hour (1,906) and most drinks made in one minute (19).
Chris made a move to south Florida in 2015 where he brought his speed and artistry to launch unique bar programs for Quality restaurant group and Ritz Carlton. He returned to NY to open White Oak where he turned his attention from power mixology to classic orchestration —perfecting the art of simplicity and adding a signature twist on traditional drinks.
Chris’s success as a well-respected barman and beverage director comes not only from his passion for artisan cocktails and spirit of education but also for his inherent enthusiasm utilizing an “invested hospitality” approach with guests and staff. As an operating partner and general manager at White Oak Tavern, Chris not only manages the day to day but develops exciting programs like our whiskey club, that features a global collection of world class whiskies paired with education to make anyone a connoisseur.
